Glaucoma disease; the elevation of eye pressure and consequent visual sinus depression, thinning of visual sinus fibers and loss of visual field. Elevated eye pressure; it may be painless and may not be a symptom, and there is no return of visual acuity damage and visual field loss. For this reason, eye strain is a sneaky and feared disease.
Corneal thickness measurement (pachymeter), examination of visual acuity and fibers (OCT) and visual field tests should be performed in each eye examination.
In treatment, eye drops are reduced by drops. Surgical methods are used when the medication is not sufficient.
